This FREE workshop is designed to help adults in the community understand and focus on the five elements of Search Institute's Developmental Relationships framework to build strong, meaningful relationships with children and youth in their lives. Attendees will also review local data on the well-being of youth in Bartholomew County and hear from some local teens about what they need from adults. During this workshop, you will:

  • Review local data on the well-being of youth in Bartholomew County

  • Hear from local teens about what they need from adults

  • Identify and describe factors that contribute to the healthy development of young people

  • Discover the critical role that relationships with adults play in the healthy development of young people

  • Identify the five elements of strong relationships with youth

  • Share ideas for strengthening relationships with youth

  • Begin planning your own strategies for strengthening your interactions with youth
